Guys im counting the days until I get to order my Bear Montana Longbow! Im ordering from 3 Rivers Archery im wondering what do you think I should get for poundage im debating between 55-60lbs im going to be using it for deer, turkey, hog and various small game what do you guys suggest for poundage? Any replys would be great thank you.

Depends on what you can draw easily and enjoy shooting. I don't know what weight you are shooting now but if the Damon Howatt you have at the bottom is your weight I don't think I would go as high as 60#

Getting a bow that is way too much poundage will really take lots of time to master & could cause problems & hurt your shooting. I agree that if you are comfortable with 45 lbs a step to 55 is the most I'd go. Frank
