Bill, I'd like one to see what I've been missing.

Shawn, we've both come a long way together since you sent that e mail about your brother after I got shot. From the moment I read the e mail about how you saved your brother life after he'd taken a slug thru his chest, I knew you were someone very special. But really had no idea just how much your friendship or better yet "brotherhood" would mean to me in such a short time. I've met very few people who have touched my life like you have bro. We're very different, yet we are so similar. We're the same age, share so many of the same beliefs, both luv our families very much, and we're both "falling apart" together too it seems.

It's honestly very hard for me to imagine what my life would be like without you and a few other friends I've made from this site. I've been amazingly blessed since I took that bullet....

Your Mom would be so proud of you bro, and I wish for just one weekend a year, we could have her back. Imagine what that would be like...

But she'll live forever in the hearts of everyone from this hunt that was privileged enough to meet her.......Be proud brother...........luv ya....

Well, it is hard to follow that. Thankyou my friend!! I love ya like a brother!! Here it is folks my final Thankyou!! I have tried all day to think about what I would write and words cannot express what you all mean to me!! I want to thank everyone who has ever donated stuff to our raffle, there are way to many to name! You know who you are and I am forever greatful!! I have to thank my wife Cindy and my 3 girls, Nicole,Allison and Heather, they are as much a part of this as I am. I also want to thank my Dad, he has been at every hunt and hunted with us until 06'. He made me what I am today and I hope he knows how much he means to me!! Last but not least I would like to thank my Mom, without her none of this would of been possible. She opened her home to 17 strangers that first year and than the next year she opened it to 33 people, some who she knew and some she didn't and allowed whoever wanted to stay the night. I miss her very much and each year as I prepare for this hunt I think of her!! It hurts but it is a good thing to remember because memories are all we have once our loved ones pass. She would of loved to see all the young ones coming to the house to hunt. She really loved the kids and that is why she suggested we give to the St. Judes Childrens Fund!! Last but not least I think she would of been proud not just of me but all of you, all that come and enjoy this hunt and all that contribute in your own way. Thanks again!! Thanks Mom!! You make us all proud too!!! OOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! Shawn

Curt, I still remember our first bunny hunt. If I'm correct it was your first hunt after being shot. I still remember how cold it was and seeing you trying to run to cut off a bunny with your leg still stiff !! I thought wow he's my kinda hunter ! There was no way of knowing such a special thing was about to begin.
It was actually the first time I had met any Trad Gangers even though Swampbuck lives just minutes from me. The Bunny Hunt growen into a great time for a great cause !!!!

Thanks to the Leonard's and all of the great people here !!!! God Bless
