AMO drawlength
« on: March 09, 2007, 12:28:00 AM »
Had the pro-shop owner where I shoot in a trad dart league measure my draw while at full draw tonight, from bottom of nock to deepest part of the grip it was 26 in. What does this mean for my actual drawlength, do you add 1 3/4 in. to that or what. To the front of riser it was 28 1/4 in..Thanks.

Yes, AMO draw length is nock groove to deepest part of the grip plus 1.75".  That would make you a 27.75" AMO draw.  Must have been one DEEP riser on that bow.

Its a Groves Mag I 56 IN. 66@28, this bow is quick as all get out, scaled it at my draw to the deep part of riser and it scaled 55-57# and its shooting a 516 gr. arrow 196 fps. .. you should hear the arrow smack the dart screen, sounds like it hits as hard as some compounds.LOL.

I have never shot a Groves, but love the looks of them.  One day I hope to have the privilege of shooting one.  FAST BOW!!!!!
