Moving to Texas
«
on:

After ten years away I am moving back to Texas, just North of Houston in June. I was wondering if there are any trad archery shops in the area and would like to meet some other trad bowhunters there. I am going to miss Colorado but at least there are lots more woods to make bows out of there. I also would like to know what is available in the way of trad groups or shoots in the area. Thanks.

Trad bow shops in Houston? About the only shop that has more than a few trad things is Viking Archery, but it is on the far southwest side of Houston from where you are. In the area that are moving the best place that I have found is "The BowZone" in Spring, Texas. There are a few people that are on the southwest side that I have "met" through here that say that once deer season closes that we will try and get together and do some shooting.
When are you moving?

Moving around June 1st. Will be living in the Conroe area. grew up in Seabrook/Kemah area and worked all over so I am familiar with all of the Houston area. I would love to get together with other trad guys and shoot so let me know when.
