Guys and gals who are thinking about coming to the Great Pennsylvania Squirrel Hunt, it looks like we may be in for a nasty ice or mixed ice and snow event.  

We will keep an eye on this mess through Friday evening and if it is evident that we are getting ice, or snow mixed, we will cancel Friday evening.  Please pay attention to the weather and check back here by Friday evening, around 6 PM and we will make the decision based on weather facts at that point.

Don't want to cancel, but safety is more important at this point.

To the top for repeating.  I'm going to the park in the morning to see who comes.  The weather is really iffy at this point, and common sense needs to prevail from your end if you had planned to attend.  We are twixt and tween the ice/snow line, as per the Weather Channel.  Snow is fine....ice is not.  Be safe.   George

Bummer George.  We have been getting hit with snow here in NE Ohio since about 1:30PM and it is starting to build.  

I've always wanted to try and make the GPSH but the weather has always been bad for that long a drive.

Goose, maybe this summer we could have a Great Pennsylvania Woodchuck Hunt  8^).  Here's what it looked like today over at the park:
