FOC on other arrow types?

I know a lot of guys (myself included) like to get a lot of weight up front on their carbons. From what I understand this makes for better arrow flight (quicker recovery from archers paradox) and more weight for greater penetration.
What about aluminums and woodys? I've heard about Woody Weights, but is FOC as big a deal when shooting aluminums that are heavier than carbons to begin with, and woodys which are way heavier to begin with.

Any and all info is greatly appreciated

I'm not totally convinced that higher FOC works that well with aluminum and wood.I just use a 125 or 145,150 gr.point on most of them and don't worry about FOC,it's usally around 10-12%.With wood I always liked tapered arrows,which will give you alittle higher FOC,but nothing like carbons.There are so many more spines available in wood or aluminum.Higher FOC with carbons works very well because they recover quicker.And that usally is what is needed to tune them,because they don't come in as many different spines as wood or aluminum.JMO

You can get woods and aluminum up to higher FOC but you will have a heavier arrow in the end. I've been using 5/16 all-thread in bigger easton sizes. O.L. Adcock {SP?}posted some info recently on using tungsten wire in woods to get them up to 20% or more. I plan to try some of those too. The EFOC does work good.
