Hey Robertson shooters
« on: January 13, 2009, 06:51:00 AM »
I just received a Robertson Falcon yesterday from a trade. I went out and shot it and am very impressed. Not only is it smooth, but fast. Just wanting to hear from other shooters to find out your likes and if any dislikes.

They are my favorite T/D recurve. Fast, stable, easy to quiet and gorgeous.

I have severals Robertson bows, I prefer the Peregrine T/D, I find it a tad quieter than the Falcon, and I really like how fast you can put it together or take it down.

3under,

Years ago I did alot of construction in your area. Robertsons are all I own. Solid bow. No complaints. I doubt you'll see many complaints although you can't please everyone.

BTW,

Here's something you might be interested in.

Dont know much about the recurves, I got 2 of their longbows and they are my absolute favorite. #60 @ 29" just smokes a 780g ash arrow.

Dick has been making and selling bows since 1978.  If you want a good idea of what people think of his bows that have them look in the classifieds.  You won't find them there very often because they are hard to beat!

Great bows.  Been shooting my vision for a couple of years.  Smooth draw and very stable.  Used Bow Hush to quite it down.
Excellent quality.

One word EASY.Easy to tune, fast forgiving very dependable, though, light they have all the features you look for a top class hunting bow. I get 7 owned 15, I never had a complain and they improve model after model, small changes that most people don't see if you don't get one next to other. They are really hunting bows shoot different spine of arrows very easy and on a elk hunt they are a feather to carry all day long
