Trees Custom Bows
« on: January 14, 2009, 10:32:00 AM »
Hello all. I was curious if anyone has any opinions on these bows? I am primarily interested in the "Prickly Curve" takedown recurve and was wondering how it performs in terms of noise?
thanks,
 Tom.

Tom, I've got three "Prickly Ash" longbows and luv them all.Took 4 deer last year and 2 coyotes + three deer this year. His longbows are quiet and quick. One has birdseye maple limbs'60"' and the other two are red cedar60" and62" with diff. woods in all 3 risers. Will get a set of ' curve' limbs this spring that fit the longbow risers.Great workmanship and he will work with you on specs.John Benetti

Tree makes a good bow no matter which one you get. I shot his new 58" TD recurve a few weeks ago. She was a sweety.

Tracy just made me 64 inch takedown shadowhawk recurve, and it is hands down the best shooting and looking bow i have ever owned. Its kinda long but you can hit dead on with it. I will post pics if i have time.

Does Tracy have a website?

1/4 away, As far as I know Tracy does not have a website up buy you can contact him through Allegheny Archers 724-586-2108. Tracy is making his new line of bows and selling through Allegheny. I accessed their site and saw that they are selling out remaining A.S. stock at 25% 0ff. I owned two of his longbows and they are sweet shooters. Good luck!
