Prices have changed since 1999
« on: January 17, 2009, 11:16:00 AM »
I was spine-testing some port orford cedar shafts I purchased in 1999. I found the sales slip:

  • 100 parallel cedar shafts: $88 (they now run about $239)

  • 100 Mercury speed nocks: $7 (similar nocks cost about $14 today)

  • 300 Left wing shield cut feathers: $66, or about $22 per 100 (They now run $42 per 100)

The lesson: buy it now because prices will always go up!    :D

I believe the first set of custom cedars I bought way back at the Dixie Deer Classic in Raleigh were about $45 for the dozen. It was from either Taper King or Custom King; which ever one is not still in business.     Pat

Must be Taper because Custom King is still going strong.
