Please take the time to check out Back County Hunters and Anglers-Alaska Chapter. If you don't already belong to an hunters advocacy group, you should. This group is run really good and does alot of work submitting good information to our legislature, board of fish and game and written articles in the newspapers. We need someone out there presenting sound plans for the management of our outdoor experience in Alaska. My mom told me 20% of the people do 80% of the work, I think it's the same with supporting groups such as these 80% complain about the issues and 20% actually do something about it. Become one of the 20 per centers!!!!!! Here is a link to there site and what they do, check out the both sides of the page and you can see the work that's being done. thanks  http://alaskabackcountryhunters.org/What%20We%20Do.htm

I did just join that organization a couple days ago, even though I don't live off the grid and off the land as much as I would like. I have a friend in Homer who is active and it was he who got me interested in joining. Thanks for posting.
I was born with nothing and I still have most of it left.
