Draw length question.

OK....always see the weight listed as X# @ 28 draw.

Is that measured at the belly or the back of the bow?

I measure my draw length at the back.  The 'clothespin on the shaft' trick works for me.

You got me thinking here.  On the tiller tree, I have been measuring from the belly.  I should be measuring from the back of the bow here as well.  Thanks for bringing this to my attention.

Yes, I know I measure MY draw length to the back of the bow. I was wondering if that is the way the bow is rated. The draw weight is measured to the back then?

Yup! From the back. The back is always in the same place on every bow (farthest from the string). The belly can vary with the depth of the riser.
