As I have said, repeatedly, the Kanati is the best buy out there! The finish is Thunderbird Epoxy. The last coat, Jason stands several feet from the bow and mists it on to get the finish. It is awesome for hunting and gives a nice firm grip. I had a Shur-grip on my first one for a while, but after I got the second I tried without it and ended up taking the one off of my first. The grip fits so naturally, the bow just becomes a part of you. I have yet to try a bow that would equal the speed of a Kanati, and they handle heavy arrows extremely well.
Jason is a true craftsman and a great guy. He's also a Tradgang member. I have two of his bows and will add a third once he gets his 3 piece takedown off the ground. It's in the works guys, so stand by for news!
