Can't comment on the other two but the Whisperstick is a sweet little bow. Several different handle types, several different sizes, and JD will build you just about anything you want. He's a man that stands behind his product. I'm a recurve shooter but own one of JD's longbows and shoot it really good. He cut it to center for me.

I have no experience with the whisperstick, but own a kabekona river (pre-kanati) and 2 holm-mades.  These are the only bows I currently own and the only ones I have ordered new.  I have shot and hunted with them alot.  I would recommend either to anyone - they are of the highest quality.  With that said they are very different designs.  The kanati is a forward handle/lots of deflex and has a deeper grip - it is similar to the shrew.  The holmmade osprey has less deflex (more of a straighter risor)and is designed for performance whereas the kanati is designed to be a little more forgiving.  The kanati design allows for a shorter bow length where the osprey functions best at 60 inches.  One difference is the holm-made can be ordered with many different wood combos and options such as the bow bolt where the kanati can only be ordered with laminated risors that are stained different colors.  The quality of both bows are outstanding and as good or better than more expensive bows I have owned from big name bowyers.  Definitely two of the best values out there right now and both bowyers will bend over backward to make sure you are happy.

I have one of Jason"s older bows So I am sure that the Kanati has got to be good. Hopefully I will be able to try a kanati soon.
