I am looking for a longbow with the following.

3. Lower wrist grip  4. forward handle
What fits these requirements?

I think you can get a MOAB in that configuration. I can't think of a better bow. As fast as they come, beautiful, and from a great guy!

I like the Toelke Whip as well, but it isn't a forward handle.  What is your draw length?

60" Whip would work for you with a bow bolt.  If you don't like the thumbrest you could get a Classic, same bow without the thumbrest.  Of course you could go shorter with a Shrew.  Tons of bows out there, you'll have a bunch of choices with a 28" draw length as well.  Good luck...Mike

With those features a Shrew with a Bow Bolt would be ideal -- other than the year wait.

I have a St. Charles Pacific Yew that matches all those specs except for the forward handle. Check out Jay's bows. Mine is very smooth, and beautiful to boot.

If possible I would like a non sleeve take-down.  Seems like there are better options out these days.

I've got a 58" ACS-CX, which is a great bow.  Bob Lee makes TD longbows down to 54"!
