yet another broadhead coming

I just saw an advert on ***bay about a "new" broadhead design. called the Bone dodger. It is designed to be a cheap throw away broadhead.

It is actually a piece like a small washer that appears to fit behind a screw in field point and I think has three "wings" that hang back. They are describing it as for small game or deer, but they recommend sharpening for deer.

Interesting design for small game, but I hope nobody actually uses it for large game.

Terry or other moderators. can we xfer a picture from the bay to here ? Is that allowed ?

Those are quite cool. Only I wouldnt use it on any big game.

Those look pretty cool. I agree not a big game head by any stretch, but would work great for small game!

Besides the cutting diameter does not not look large enough to be legal here in CO, need 7/8"

Item number: 260349996610 The description says it has a 1-3/8" cutting diameter. I wouldn't mind trying a few, but I don't think I'll bid on 100 of them!

Wouldn't it constitute a "barbed" broadhead? I thought they were illegal. But I've been wrong before...

New broadheads come out almost daily it seems, many are for our wheelie bow bretheren.
And now that some heads fetch 30 dollars it might be a good reason to introduce a 'new amazing BH'.
For some really interesting heads do a search for 'vintage broadhead' on the auction site, everything old is new again.

Might be considered "barbed" wich could make it illegal in some places for big game. Just as well..

yep i think thats barbed here in NYS,looks cool though. makes ya wonder how many "new" designs are still out there. never strayed far from my zwickeys..

I've still got 8 of the old Hoyt "chuck its" still in the original boxes. I shot them for a short while in the early 80s and they worked really good on Deer.I actually considered using them again this season but decided to go with the Bear razorheads again. Just hanging on to the hoyts, but they do put an amazing hole through a Deer.
