snake skin care
« on: January 25, 2009, 09:13:00 PM »
I'm sure this topic has come up before but I could not find it with the search. I just bought a bow that has snake skin on it. There are a couple spot were it is starting to lift. What glue should I use to stick it back down on the fiber glass. Also is there anything I need to do to maintain the skins?  :campfire:

I use thin superglue over my skins after glueing them down with Titebond 111. I would suggest using superglue on any areas where the skin has lifted. In terms of maintaining the skins, a coat of tru oil or wax should do the job.
