496grn hertige 250 traveling at 215ftps
or
540grn 2117 traveling at 196fts
muzzy phantoms or stingers 4 blade
both set ups fly great
I seem to be a touch more accurate with the carbon express set up but both shoot groups no bigger than 3 inches at 25 yard

Either one of those arrows going even 40 feet per second slower would be fine. Bears are VERY thin skinned and are easy to penetrate. Make a double lung shot and they don't go far at all!!! If you shoot a big bear in the front Heavy leg bone, it won't matter if you were shooting 700 grains at 200FPS, you aren't going to penetrate it.

Agreed. Put either of those through the lungs and there is a good chance you will get to see him go down.
