I have mistakenly superglued the wrong inserts into some carbon shafts. Any tricks on how to un-bond or am i stuck with it? Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

I used to put a feild tip into the incert and heat just the feild tip slow and pull with pliers at same time, take care not to hit the carbon with heat!!

Drill bit into shaft from nock end, then sling it into the insert like a sledgehammer. May take several swings. Use the largest/heaviest bit that will freely slide.

Second the heat on the screw in tip. . . has always worked for me. Just be cautious

I've tried the drill bit routine. In theory it ought to work, but it didn't for me. However if I shoot at my target and miss and hit the railroad tie backing behind it the inserts often come out as I attempt to extricate my arrow from the tie (even when I don't want them to). Probably shooting into a tree trunk would work if you don't have any rr ties handy.

I just got done removing 6 inserts myself:
Used propane torch on low; screwed in a field-tip just 2-3 threads and heated slow while turning for roughly 30 seconds or so. Then using pliers, I screwed in the tip all the way in and pulled steadily. All inserts came right out.
Pull straight out; don't wiggle tip to try and get it out or you will crack the carbon shaft ( I did that once). If it doesn't come out, just re-heat another 10 seconds or so and it will.

finger nail polish remover (acetone) poured into the nock end should debond the superglue

I used the method I stated above for several different glues, including goat tuff, and duco cement.
I think heat will break most glue bonds, IMO

I had the same problem and called a couple dealers.
They were very reluctant to suggest heat in that it can weaken the expoxy that bonds the carbon shafts.

Drill bit trick worked like a charm and no worries about overheating.
