Blast from the past - JLMBH
« on: February 03, 2009, 10:27:00 AM »
It's February, which means it's time for the Joan Leonard Memorial Bunny Hunt up at Shawn's in NY.  Anyone interested in seeing pictures from previous years should check out this link.

 Trad Archery Page

I ran out of web space, so the the 2008 pictures aren't up, but '05, '06 and '07 are up  :)

I hope the pics convince those of you who are on the fence to make the trip!!  It's a blast!!

Note: the website will only be up for another two weeks until the account is closed.  I switched ISPs, so my "free" webspace will be going.  No time to keep a web page up to date anyway!

This will be my 5th year.  What a great hunt this has been, and it keeps getting better.

This year I'm shooting the same bow I was in the '05 photo of us shooting arials. I remember I was shooting my short green BBO.

That basket quiver now belongs the Ru.

Look at that great bend at the waist form....  :saywhat:

Jeremy,

I like the 2007 picture of "yours truly with my bunny".....

(BTW,that looks like my son Kevin's longbow your holding)   ;)
I only shoot WOOD arrows... My kid makes them, fast as I can break them!

There is a fine line between Hunting, & Sitting there looking Stupid...

May The Great Spirit Guide Your Arrows..... Happy Hunting!!!

Chuck, it sure wasn't my bow I shot the bunny with - that was back at Shawn's on the table  :)

I lifted the pics from a variety of people, only a few were from my camera - I was too busy shooting  :)   I think Curt gets credit for many of them, but any picture I saw and liked I copied.  I'm burning what I have on DVD when I get the chance... if anyone has pics from the first hunt send them my way so I'm not missing a year  :)

Thanks for sharing. Looks like a real fun hunt, but I don't have any warm clothes. It was 84 degrees out here today. Have fun.  :archer:
