Grizzly rest and strike plate replacement
« on: February 03, 2009, 01:23:00 PM »
Hey folks, I was wondering where the best place to find the closest to the original rest and strike plate. I picked up a Grizzly and it appears the rest and plate are going to need replacing. i thought I had a kit in the box but I was mistaken! Everyplace I looked it cost more to ship than the actual cost of the rest/plate.

you can duplicate the strike plate with leather from a boot top, if you have black or burgundy old hunting boots.

What year Grizzly?

I can send you a replica strike plate easily enough, but I don't have any of the Bear hair rugs.
Actual cost to you: show me some pictures  :)

I can stop by the sporting goods store on my way home tonight and see if they have and of the rugs left if that's what you need.
