Turkey Hunting Help
« on: February 05, 2009, 08:47:00 PM »
Hello fellow archers.  I am planning on turkey hunting this year with traditional gear for the first time.  Any tips, advice, suggestions?  My set up is a 64 lbs Drifter, cedar shaft and eskimo 2 blade.  Any thoughts on that?  Any feedback is appreaciated.

Pop up blind is a big, big plus. Mighty hard to draw on turkeys without being seen. Practice out of blind alot prior to season. Have fun.

all the above and decoys, set them out 10-15 yards facing you, this way the tom will likely face the decoy and give you the perfect bullseye shot.  Also, Master the mouth call, real hard to work any other, as you hold and draw the bow.
