I like a dark wood with cocobolo, this one is charcoal grey dymondwood

Bocote with the black in the riser would go great with the red Cocobolo veneers.  The Bocote makes for a great contrast with the Cocobolo veneers and the black in the riser makes for a great contrast with the Bocote in the riser and the red Cocobolo limb veneers.

Osage as well, but that Ebony looks good too!! Either a lighter wood as been said or a real dark almost black would be nice. I also would give a thought to leopardwood! Shawn

Macasser Ebony. Actually, most woods go well with cocobolo, as you can see from the pictures of all the bows posted here.

It will already have black micarta in the riser so another black wood probably wouldn't do much.
