Arrow length?
« on: March 13, 2007, 10:10:00 PM »
I have made some arrows: 11/32" 60-64# for my 50#@27" recurve. I started bareshaft tuning them. I got the brace height at 7 1/4" and the nock pt. at 3/4".  They fly good together in line vertically. The bareshafts are about 3" low. My dilemma is they show stiff at 30" by about 3-4" with 160gr. fieldtips! I could go up to 190gr and see if that works. I am just surprised at the length. Should I have gone to 55-60# spined arrows? If so I have some new arrows for sale............
Isaiah 49:2...he made me a polished arrow and concealed me in his quiver.
