Carbon Express Heritage Shafts for me?

I am interested in trying the CX Heritage shafts.  I am shooting a Liberty English longbow 47# @ 30".  If I'm correct, it looks like I will be on the borderline of the 150 or 250 shafts.  Could anyone give me some advice on which shaft and point weight combos they think would work best. Thanks for your help!

I shoot a Liberty English 50# at my draw and I shoot CX 150s cut 29 1/2 bop with 250 grains up front. They bare shafted great and fly good. I believe the 250s would be a little stiff. You would really have to load the front up on them.

Might help a little if we knew your draw length,rough arrow weight you'd like and how close to center cut your bow is.

I shoot 250's out of a heavier recurve. You'll want the 150's, assuming you're drawing the full 47lbs. I believe the chart runs a bit stiff.  Start longer than you expect and trim down gradually in quarter-inch increments and you'll dial in the right spine.  These are very good shafts - tough and heavy.

If you draw 30" you could probably shoot either one.The 150 with regular insert and 125 tip or the 250 with more weight up front.

The main thing is to start testing full length and don't cut untill you are sure you need to.

Sorry to disagree with R H but the 250s even left full length and 275-325 up front would most likely still be too stiff. I shoot 150s cut to 29.5"s with 175 up front out of my 52-54# at 28" high performance recurves. Shoot the 150 cut to 31"s and at least 175 up front, but more like 225 may be best. I am sure you will fall right in that range. Shawn

For my thin & dusty dime, if on the borderline I go with the heavier spine, particularly for broadheads.

I shoot 29.5"-30" 4560/250 CX's with 50 grain inserts & 125 grain points from my 50#-55# recurves and get great arrow flight & accuracy...

Why in the world would you want a stiffer spine with a broadhead, ya want a shaft that bareshafts a tad weak. i have shot the heritage series exclusively for the last 4 years and have had 25 or 30 bows over that time and I have a pretty good idea what will and won't work. Sorry but I have seen some guys perfect arrow flight and I believe most of the time it isn't even average. Shawn

For me there seems to be a great difference between bows, strings and degree of cut to center.When I'm not sure I just buy a couple of each to test.
