George,  I have two of those old Kwikee quivers and I knew I kept them for some reason and your little outing just reminded me why...Thanks and I want to try them heads myself...God Bless, Keefers <")))><

Keefer....I use that it from time to time in bow season as well.  I made some leather booties for my two blade heads to make it safer for broadheads.  You can't beat the simplicity and effectiveness of the old Kwickee.

I'm going to resubmit them to photobucket, for some reason the resize didn't work but on a few.

George I know many people would frown on useing them for broadheads and they have good reason to but like you said you made a hood for yours and that makes it safe...I would still just use it for Blunts, Hexheads and now the Hammerheads without the hood...I have messed up a few leather hood foam inserts and I think just carrying those type heads without a hood is safe and it lets you recycle those old Kwikee quivers...Thanks for your post again George...God Bless, Keefers <")))><
