Got a used Dale Stahl recurve on the way. Can't wait to get it. I would like to know you guys opinion or experience with these bows. It looks great from the pictures. How would they compare to a Widow PMA. Used to have one' sold it to get a longbow and have missed having a recurve a little. Don't really like the looks of the Widow take downs but like the way they shoot. Hope this Stahl shoots good.

I asked the same question about a week ago. I have heard nothing but good about them. Just wish I could find one about 50#. Do you mind telling what you paid for it?

Jason,

The Dale Stahl bows are great shooting bows.  They are very smooth, very quiet, dead in the hand and shoot where you're looking.  They are not blazing fast, but they are fast enough!

I've owned four Stahl T/D recurves and a one piece Hybrid longbow.  They were all great shooting bows.  Actually, in the case of my last Dale Stahl T/D recurve I can say it IS a great shooting bow as I still own it.  Below are some pics of it:

The riser is nicely figured Cocobolo with an arch stripe and the limbs are nicely figured Red Elm stained to match the Cocobolo.  The bow is 62" and 49#@28", I think.    ;)    :)

I have a real nice one too and it shoots favorable with my TF III.  Very nice grip and not too heavy in the hand which I like alot. Mine is 60" 60#@28.  Not sure of the wood, but has the same arched accent as Bill's also with the red elm veneeres.  With the economy dumping like it is I may be forced to sell off some bows soon and Since I love my Griffins and Morrisons This bow along with a couple widdows [already in the classifieds] and a bunch more may be hitting the classifieds soon  :scared:

Thanks for the replies. I can't wait to get it!!! Thats a great looking bow Bill. I hope this is one I can pass down to my kids. I'm trying to distill good values with hunting the hard way and in life too. We take them to church and teach them about God. They play outside instead of video games. I hope and pray the lessons sink in and they go the right way. Thanks again guys!!!
