What happened to ATHA?
« on: March 14, 2007, 04:02:00 PM »
The last few years I've been hit and miss with my archery because of a move, change in jobs etc. Last time I was really watching ATHA and Comptons were both starting and going great guns. I never read about ATHA anymore...are they still around, join with Comptons or I'm not looking in the right places?

Thanks for your time!

Its always easier to get people together socially than politically
There is always someone that knows more than you, and someone that knows less than you, so you can always learn and you can always teach

A very true statement Mickey.
ATHA's board decided to call it quits while they still had enough funds to stay out of the red.

I belonged to both ATHA and Comptons. I suggest you join Comptons and help keep it strong.

Ferret,

Thanks for the post but it's rather cryptic. Did ATHA dissolve, merge, hanging on?

Is this a topic that has been contentious in the past? I have no agenda other than wondering what had happened to that organization.

Thanks again.

Sorry to be so cryptic

It's not contentious, but being a former board member for ATHA it just always saddens me when the subject comes up and I think of what could have been

Thanks Mr. Ferret...have time for my bows again and while spending time here and on the *********** I realized I no longer heard about ATHA.

I'm sorry it didn't work out.

Sant-Ravenhill,
Two things:  The *********** is that "other" site.  And Semper Fi.
