Remeber...........I'm on a serious budget!

So I was at Tim Shoenborn's house a few moths back and he showed me his Shaffer recurve. What an impression that made! I had shot a compund ONCE. and thought it was like a toy or something. I decided to make my archery adventure start the right way. I bought a recurve...   ;)

I don't have money,so after much research I bought one of those Deer Master recurves from 3 Rivers. $250 with string and Otter siencers.

I'm a flint knapper and a Trad guy shot the bow at our last meeting and was actually impressed!?!? I put a Seal Fur rest on it and got some descent practice carbon arrows.

Anywho............I'm getting good groups and often able to just pick it up and shoot a target and nail it.

This truly is a fun journey to start.

Good looking bow right there! Congratulations. I think everyone will agree that you made the right choice in picking the traditional route.

It's a long and rewarding journey.... enjoy it.

I got some of that Realtree Camo tape. I took my time and made sure there were no bubbles and used my Case Trapper knife (Sharp as the Devil himself) and ran it down the side to slice off the excess. It looks stock. I still am patting myself on the back.    :jumper:

Thanks for the encou***ement guys AND the compliments.
