TBM - Whats that bow in the picture???
« on: February 22, 2009, 10:19:00 AM »
I was just looking through the April/May issue and the article about Chasing Chocolate has a picture of Brent Hahn with a nice bear he took.

My question is what kind of bow is he posing with, and what is the wood combination.  That bow is stunning to say the least, and I can't stop droooooling over it!!

It looks to be a Thunderhon 3 Piece TD, but not sure.  I contacted TBM a few min ago so I hope to hear back from them.

Anyone know?????

Thanks
Jake

PS - Mods if this is not the place for this, feel free to bring out the ax...

I don't know, but I just opened my TBM and was wondering the same thing.  Very pretty wood combo.
God is good, all the time!!!

I would offer a guess but I usually get mine on the late side....about a week after people start posting and asking where theirs is...lol.

I immediately thought the same thing when I saw the photo. It's probably better that I don't know...

Here is the email I recieved back when I inquired about it to TBM.

Jake, the bow in the pic is a thunderhorn TD 60" 68# @ 28, bamboo core zebrawood veneers, with macassar ebony/zebrawood riser, stipple grip elkhorn tips, matching thunderhorn quiver(boa), goldtip traditional arrows with montec weight tubes 630gr. spits em out @ 180ft/sec.

I hope to be putting in an order for that exact combo just in a lighter weight...hopefully sooner than later.
