BOHNING AND WATCO LACQUER
« on: February 22, 2009, 04:56:00 PM »
I'm in the process of dipping my third coat of lacquer, but the Bohning is running low in my dip tube. Can I top it up with the Watco lacquer, or won't the two mix?

Bohning is unique stuff and doesn't play well with anything but Bohning.

Fletcher is right on. Bohning laq. is a vinyl laq. that pretty much use it's own thinners and paints. Mix the Watco and Bohning and you will have a mess.
