My TD new bow case
«

A friend gave me an old leather/wood case from a matched 28 gauge sxs. My 28 ou didn't fit, so I decided to convert it to a case for my TD chek-mate. It was the first time I have tried steaming and bending wood. Covered everything with deerskin. I am waiting for a second set of limbs to fill the open area. Tried to make storage for the limb bolts, tools, stringer etc. Now I just need to find a place to travel to with my bow.

Very nice!. I would put one limb in each slot for now so they don't rub against each other though.

Very nicely done! Is your bow a Hunter #1 or a hunter #2 ? The blended in limbs look better than the sit on blocky limbs.

It is a Hunter II. Good idea on the rubbing limbs, though there is very little movement when they are in the case. I will probably cut some more leather to set betweenn the limbs in a couple of spots.
