Help with carbons
« on: February 25, 2009, 09:43:00 AM »
I am thinking of shooting Grizzly stiks off my Widow. 64", 53#@28". I am drawing 27" so my finished arrow size would be around 29". Should I be using the Sitkas or the Alaskans. I need a finished weight of around 580 gr. I want to shoot 150 gr BH. Anything else I should be looking at? I have aluminums (2117) shooting Ok and cedars (60-70)flying real nice. Will be using 5 1/4" shield style feathers. Where is the best place to buy full length RW barred feathers?

Thanks

Rick

Rick, go with the Sitka's. Leave them full length to start with if you are locking yourself into one point weight....O.L.
