Anybody up for a half price javelina hunt??
« on: February 25, 2009, 05:45:00 PM »
I have had a javelina hunt booked near Ft. Stockton Tex for some time with two other guys, who now can't go. The dates are March 25th and 26th, arriving on the 24th and leaving on the 27th. The hunt is with Ken Burton   http://www.burtonenterprises.com/hunting/javelinahunts.htm

Since the two guys who backed out have paid their deposit, you would only need to come up with $275 each plus transportation and the license. If anyone wants to do it, please PM me.
This is an area where you can take two javelina on the license.

Is it $275 or is it $275 per day? The reason I'm asking is because the website says:

"3-day hunts with lodging included for 2-javelina for $ 275.00 a day."

I signed on  for a two day hunt @ $275 per day. So $275 is what is left to pay. Josh Adams may have a buddy that wants to go; I will know later today.
Thanks for all the interest, guys. I am looking forward to meeting some more tradgangers on this hunt.

Jim, I'd love to hunt with you but I'm headed to Marfa next week to chase the wee rascals and if the pattern of all previous hunts there plays the same I will have my limit.-There is also the matter of being booked to teach a class on arboriculture here on your dates. Hope you find a good stand-in.
