Took me a few minutes to figure out what a floding chair is... Had given up and was ready to go to bed then realized it is because it flods up!

Looks good!

Tom, yeah there is, but then it wouldn't be so much fun trying to figure out how one "flods".  Thought I was going to learn about an entirely new outdoor sport   ;)

Very nicely done.

I have one thats very similar that was built at the turn of the 20th century.  It used a tacked on piece of carpet like material as a seat, but essentially the same design.

pretty piece of work!  What wood did you use?

Do you have some dimensions for those that want to try to repeat this experiment?  :-)

Guyzer -

That's a sweet piece of work!  You really should get with Ray Hammond...I hear he's in the market for some new furniture.

Vig –

The pics of Guyzer’s floding chair are really an optional illusion.  It might flod up, it might ont…your choice…

Make your own bow and arrows to shoot from the chair you made... Now that would be cool!

The chair will be handy and it looks good too.

Can you make me a floding chair that would fit on my canoe seat for a back rest? Come on please, I know your a carpenter! Could the back of the chair be strapping too? Probably would loose stability huh?
