Any leads on Kids' arrows
« on: February 27, 2009, 02:59:00 PM »
I have a Little Bear 20#@24" coming for my grandkids and looking for leads on cheap kids arrows for it.  I all of the equipment to make some so any suggestions on that end would help too.

Also suggestions on gloves or tabs and armguards too.
Thanks,

With the loss of ramin dowels, good affordable kid arrows are going to be an issue.  The poplar and Chinese wood that I'm seeing now aren't going to work.  I'm hoping that a decent fiberglass or carbon shaft will appear, but I fear they will be pricey.  Believe me, you are not alone.

I got a dozen kids wood shafts from Rose City and I also have a half dozen gold tip lightnings.  I have been reading that someone on here is getting some low spined gold tips pretty soon.  Don't know what kind of GT they are.
I saw bambi too, I got over it.

When my kids were little I made up some real low numbered Microflights and then gave them my old Easton aluminum target shafts cut down for them.  I think they were 1716s.
