Does anyone one one of these Fred Anderson bows and if so can you post some pictures of it? My buddy Fletcher has one but I would like to see some more and your thoughts on the bows shooting qualities. Thanks for replies. Flint  :)

I have 3 Hyaks, 1 Diamondback and a Mojo recurve. I could take some photos and send them to you. I have not figured out how to attached photos here.
They are all extremely smooth, quiet and quick. Dacron strings only on Fred's bows. They are excellent shooters.

I carried some of Freds bows in my shop for years and talked him into coming to Denton Hill many years ago, genuine good man and friend. Fabulous craftsman of the bow and has been involved in archery from the early days with Fasco and Drake and others. For years my wife wanted to cut off the phone lines cause I spent so much time talking with him long distance, but it was worth the heat in the kitchen, I learned a lot and laughed a lot. Good guy.

There's quite a few folks trying to get Fred back into the bow making business, but he's making very few, if any.

He has a new book that will be coming out soon, so look for that.

He and Steve Gorr have completed a 90 minute DVD about trad archery and hunting which should be released before spring. I've already seen it and all trad bowhunters should really enjoy it.

Here's Fred doing some 3-D shooting with one of his Mojo's.

Here's another pic of Fred (far right standing).

Little over 3 years ago, Fred called me to order some strings. Took me off guard, didn't think he was still building!

Last time I had saw him was at the GLLI in the 90s.

Hope your well, Fred!

Mr. Fred Anderson is the best of the best, of ALL Bowyers today and I feel of the past also. A true Master Bowyer. Barr none.
If you have one of Mr. Andersons bows, you have a work of Art and a very fine shooting Archery Bow. Fred has two books, The Traditional Way and Toxicated, Very fine reading.  ..OE
