Fletch choices

Can any of you tell me about the 4 ....(75 : 105 deg) fletch configuration?
I have usually only bought the 3-120deg. configuration with 5 " shields. I am poised to start making my own arrows and I wanted a little smaller feather (I ordered 4" shields today) and I want to try the 4 fletch.
I have a test pack of arrows coming from surewood shafts and I am wanting to pinpoint-tune each of my 4 longbows. I guess most folks go with the 3-fletch, but I really wanted to try something a little different.
Is there anybody else who likes 4" feathers in either fletching configuration I mention above ... especially the 4-fletch configuration?

I shoot 4 4"@90 deg. and have for more than 40 years. I have tried all the other cofigurations and lengths and always come back to this one. It works for me. Shoot what ever you like.

I use both the 3 5" and 4 4" configurations. They fly the same for me. I do like the look of the 4-fletch arrows better. That's the only reason I make more arrows that way.

I think it comes down to what you prefer. They all work.I never could fine or knew of anyone that could prove a difference in trad. equipment except big feathers stapl.I even know of a gentlemen that shot hand burned tryed on turkey buzzard feathers. And not just to be different. He shot every time I ran in to him.

4 4" feathers at 90deg for me. Just like the way they look and fly.

I've shot both the 75x105 and 90x90, and both shoot very well. I finally settled on the 90's for myself, but mostly for looks, I think.
