And now for the second one: Ronnie and I were sneaking down a creek bottom, there were several Javelina around the bend. Since Ronnie had not got one yet, he was in front. Ronnie got to where he could see them over a little rise at the inside of the creek bend and took a shot and missed. Well, all I saw was a bunch heading up the other bank and so I let loose with my Javelina call and at least 6 of them came charging back! And Ronnie didn't have his bow reloaded yet! They stopped within 10 yards and the lead one was quartering to me (I had moved a couple of steps to the side by then) So I took a shot, but it hit a little back. Ronnie had an arrow ready by then and he took a shot at it. This one left a small blood trail, but we found it and I had to put another arrow in it. I feel like I saved Ronnie's life by shooting the first one that was charging in!!!!!
