Chek-mate " Firebird "
«

Two summer ago , i got my first Firebird #53 and found a other one #50 . Fell in love to shoot those bows ! How many Firebird owner are still shooting and your thought about them ? What is the reason Chek-mate stoped the making of this bow ? How could i be in touch with the boyer ?
I'm just curious and would like to know about the Firebird history .
Thanks all ,
Eric .

Your best bet would be to email Chad and get the info from him...he's the Chek-Mate guru!

Not sure why they stopped but probably not enough demand. I had two of them and they are good shooting bows. Took my first animal (javelina) with a firebird. Chad Weaver goes by LBR and he can help with the history.

I've owned several Chek-Mate bows but (in my opinion) the two FireBirds were hands down the best. I'm sure Chad can answer your questions.

Thank you for your replies , look like few are still shooting them !
What i like too is the design of the bow . I own a Hunter 56" , hunter II , but prefer and shoot better the Firebird .
Aggie , i took my first deer last fall with the Firebird , what a great momment it was !
Thanks again ,
Eric .
