speaking of broadhead alignment
« on: March 16, 2007, 07:43:00 PM »
I ordered aluminum screw in adapters in both short and long from 3 rivers last fall.. I was wanting to use the 11/32 but the taper was wrong; the broadheads would woble on the tapered adapters. The tapers didn't match.. I later got some steel adapters and the tapers were perfect.
Did anyone else run into this?

There's some shafts that I need the lighter adapter on. I need to find some with the proper 5' taper.

The XL BHA come in both 5/16 and 11/32 same with the short. You might have received the wrong size by mistake because a 5 degree taper that fits snug on a 11/32 adapter will fit loose on a 5/16 broadhead.
