I have got to get Luke another bow. He wanted to shoot real bad today but hates his brothers bow.  He was already asking when we were going back.

Sorry Dave. I got so busy gettin ready, I forgot about the camera. I thought about it one time today, then the thought went to something else. TJ is usually the camera man, but he had car trouble and couldn't make it.

Kenny I threw the camera in my truck and then forgot about it till I got home. Looks like you will have to do it again so we can get some pics.

Awe man no pics?  Geeesh that stinks. Next time I'll walk if I have to. I hated missing it. Glad to see it went well and everyone had a good time. I'll see you guys this weekend at the turkey shoot!

I agree! I tried to post a message to remind Ken, but the site was under maintenance so it did not post!

Glad you all had a good time and I was thinking about what must be going on at Kens yesterday.

Joe, would have loved to have you here as well.

Looks like yesterday started, or fueled the bug in a couple of the guys. They cut a Hickory today and are getting started on their own. Very cool!

I debarked and roughed out a Hop-Hornbeam stave that I got from BobW last spring. I'll probably post some progress on it in the Bowyers Bench at some point.

Ed Read came down from Newton Falls OH. He was our teacher. It's nice to have a local who is very knowledgable about selfbows and lam bows.

Drummer also stopped in with his daughter to shoot for a bit and visit.

Steve from Canton stopped in for a bit and introduced his daughter, Lilly. What a cutie!!

We had a great time and am sure we will do this again. Baseball is starting next week and shoot season is starting so things will be real busy now.

Baseball and shooting season?????!!!! Now wait a minute Kenny. When is bow building season? Ya can't just fire Mike up and leave me to deal with it. I told him we should wait to get moving on the selfbows until after our hog hunt.  Then I go over to a friends yesterday to get a can of stain.  Mike shows up and next thing I know, we're coming out of the woods carrying a hickory.  Had to put up with the wife complaining about why it took three hours to pick up a can of stain! I blame you Kenny... I blame you...      ;)
