It's actually two bows that are on my "get buried with me" list. My first love and the bow that kept me from turning away from archery altogether when I got burned out on gadgets, an Appalachian Archery Middle Mountain longbow.

The second is the only bow I ever had that was made for me, my Whisperstik Mojo. I had gotten to know JD Lund as a friend and told him to make the bow that he would make for himself, one that showed his talents to the utmost. What arrived was both a testament to his art and as perfect a bow as I've seen. It's like he knew exactly what I wanted better than I did. It was what I never knew that I always wanted, if that makes any sense.

as some of you know i will sell almost anything. but a couple yrs ago my son and i bought a shrew on here. it wasn't the shrew that we were the most interested in (although that sure didn't hurt anything). but it was the seller that interested us the most. we bought the bow from camo cowboy, which just happens to be jim bowman. ever since my son was very young (he is 9 now)and we would go to 3D shoots together quite often. we would listen to jim's music all the way there and back. my son learned his songs and loved to sing along. anyways, after we got the shrew jacob (my son) and i cleaned it up and resealed it together. that bow became a trophy in jacob's eyes. then when we went to compton that next year i took the shrew with us. after jim bowman's saturday concert jacob and i asked him if he could autograph our shrew for us. even as busy as he is he took some time for us. he made jacob's entire summer. jim bowman is definitely a great representative for our sport and a wonderful, talented, and giving person. we still listen to jim's music and share the story of our bow. I WILL NEVER TRADE OUR LITTLE SHREW. tim and jacob.

I have many that I wont trade for obvious reasons....so I can't just say one.

I've killed three 10 pointers the last two seasons with 3 different bows(1 recurve and 2 different longbows), and a bruiser boar hog with one of those same longbows.  None of those bows are going anywhere.

I killed my Bday hog and Bday 8 pointer with the same bow that was different than the ones above, so it aint going anywhere.  Matter of fact, I've killed so many animals with it including other deer, hogs, javelinas, and an antelope, that a friend of mine JC deemed a name for that bow....'Zip Code'.  Joe said if I'm hunting with that bow that I can kill any animal as long as it in the same zip code. ;>)

I also killed 3 hogs on one hunt with Ray Hammond with a bow not mentioned yet and it was the 1st time afield with that bow.  Not for sale.

I also have a bow I made a great running shot on an angora goat near Pecos TX.....it aint going anywhere.

I also have a Charlie Lamb Sunbear that I killed 3 hogs with on the same hunt....and that was that bows 1st time afield....it aint going anywhere.

I have a longbow mot mentioned above that I killed a 2000# American Bison with that aint going anywhere.

And I have my 1st custom bow I ever got...it aint leaving either.

I have another hybrid longbow not mentioned yet that killed two hogs and two rabbits on the 1st day of my 1st TX Sweat.

Might be a couple more ....but its late, and I'm whooped!

My first is a recurve bow I built in 1968 while still in high school that "started it all" for me.

Next would be my 2 piece Griffin with Tamo Ash Veneers and my "B" riser Mesquete [sp?] Morrison Shawnee with C Dakota limbs
