I'm making a trip to the big city. In your opions, using a 52# recurve what would be the best (heavy) broad head in a 2 blade? Help I'm leaving in the morning. Thanks.

"heavy" for your rig might be the 145 Eclipse, or 160 STOS. Zwickey, Magnus, Griz, etc., all can fill the bill, but it depends on what you want to do with shafting..... Lots of even heavier heads out there. Choice is yours to make.

Yep. Heavy is relative. Personally I dislike most of the 190 grain glue-ons-TOO big, they look like spear points. I consider 160s heavy and like the Eclipse 145 with a bit of lead added to bring it up to 160, The Tusker Delta 160 or the Stos 160. The Tusker is big/wide but fies well with my set -up. Eclipse quality is superb. STOS has a great reputation as a penetrator-I have yet to use them but have seen them in action and find no fault with the head.(provided that you Tanto/diamond point the tip)

For 52# I would recommend GT 3555 shafts with 250-300 grains up front for maximum pentration.
Check out 300 Xtremes made in Canada in 3 blade and they also have a 2 blade head but I am unsure what it ways.

The Tusker 190's and Grizzly El Grande 190's are both excellent heads and priced right.

C2, the 300 xtreem is made in usa, but designed and
developed in Canada, no 2 blades for now. There are plenty of 2 blades on the market. Arrows- 400 spine
with 300 on tip works great from 50-55lbs bows.
Thanks
