zwickey tuning?
« on: March 14, 2009, 12:21:00 PM »
i got a great deal on 6 zwickey four edge ESKIMO broadheads.basically a two blade with two very small bleeders, they are 125gr.i also bought the glue on inserts so i can shoot these on my carbon arrows off my 40# recurve.
my question is:do i tune the four blade on a recurve like a compound? (i always line the cock feather up between two blades and the other two feathers line up with the remaning blades)
thanks in advance,my arrows want be ready till next week but i like to get a headstart!
well....let's go let the air out'a one!

I think if the arrow spine is correct with these heads they will fly fine no matter how they line up in referrence to your feathers.

I use 4 blade srew on Magnus heads and it doesn't matter for me how they line up with the feathers.

I have heard gap shooters like to alighn the head a certain way so they can see the gap better.
