Rancho safari ghillie

I have been looking into ghillie suits recently and it seems like a lot of you guys like the rancho safari ones. I looked into them and their "shag" style ghillies looked just like a bunch of rags bunched together. Are you able to fray them and is there netting under the "shag" to attatch native foliage? Also are there any complaints about these suits or other suits you guys prefer? thanks

I love mine. I got the 4 seasons, the leg gators, boonie hood, and face mask..Dont forget to trim bow arm, and shoot with it on. I am shooting with it on every time I shoot now. They really are great at covering you up..

While I don't own one (yet) I did get to see one up close and try it on.  It's a quality piece of gear - opposite of what I was expecting after seeing some of the ghillie suits offered by the bigname stores.  Concealment would not be a problem with it.

I'm in the process of building my own right now, costs about half what you can buy them for and you can build them to your own specs(color blends with your hunting area) there was a build along on here awhile back just do a search!! very easy to build!!

I like the looks of the Rancho "shaggy suit", I'm going to have to get one.
Mine is a synthetic string ghillie, it is fairly cool and has netting to add natural material, but it hangs and snags on EVERYTHING!! Mine is almost impossible to walk or stalk in. I make way too much noise and waste time untangling myself getting to my blind. I wear the jacket and put the pants on at my blind.               ly.  The company who makes mine offers a poncho style "stalking suit" which doesn't hang down as far as my pants do. I should have bought that one. The Rancho suit looks more like the military ghillie and they don't have the problem of snagging every twig, thorn, blade of grass etc..

I have the Rancho Safari Long Shaggie Coat with Boonie Hat and Face Mask. The design is well thought out, it has compression straps in the sleeves, drawstring waist and "D"rings and straps on the inside so you can roll it up snap the straps attach the carry srap and away you go.
   I really like mine and have been shooting with it on quite a bit lately getting ready to go chase some Turkeys.
