Who shoots 2213 aluminiums??
« on: March 14, 2009, 10:51:00 PM »
I used to shoot these things for years but a couple of years ago I switched over to carbons.

I like the toughness and weight of carbons (they don't break whilst stumping), but those very light thin walled babies were real fun to shoot.

I am thinking of making up a set just for the range and having some fun.  I have tried a couple of shops here in Sydney and they tell me that these are not made anymore and cannot be obtained.

Is this true??  Does anybody have a secret stash somewhere?

Cheers - Sutto

Philip,  Check the errow and arrow making form. Last I checked there were a couple of people selling that size shaft. That is the size I shoot and I have purchased from that form several.  Search the history as it has been a month or so since I was there.   Jim

Thanks Jim - derr, why didn't I think of that.

I stuck up a 'WTB' on there so lets seee what happens.  There was somebody there who had some shafts for sale but they were chopped off too short for me.

There were some nice arrows there too, but with postage to Australia they would work out too expensive.  That is why I have always made me own arrows.

I have two 2213 arrows that I plan on testing on my new Blacktail TD when it arrives this upcoming November. As far as I know, I don't think Easton has discontinued the 2213 size. It's still listed on their website in the Camo Hunter series.
