Biggie... have you adjusted the straps on the inside of your DB. They can be loosened which makes set up a lot easier... look in the upper corners of the blind.

Been there, done that...

Biggie I had one of those Matrix's and had trouble with it also. I sent it back and exchanged it for a T-5. I can set my T-5's up with out any problem. I guess they are right, you can't teach old dogs new tricks, at least in my case.

Well Biggie, Brooks knows........????
Hey, if I can get to you before Guru does, is the offer still good?? Hope you found some birds, I know you will be after them this weekend, let me know if you find out about that blind and I will check with some sources at Summitt and see what they say, have not heard of that, but will definitely have my DB out this weekend!  Just have to hold off on building my ark, if the rain will stop long enough>>> :) !

Hey Ron, We really need to get together my friend, it's been way too long!

Looks easy to set-up, but a pain to carry such a long package....

Biggie, I had a Matrix before I had this Darkhorse...I really think the Darkhorse is the best of both worlds...and yes, maybe a bit easier to set up....

Is your Matrix a recurve model?  They can be a tad tougher to set-up for a little guy like me because of the size.....

There's a lot of interesting blinds on the market today with DB probable leading the field...but if it's quick and easy setup and take down that you're looking for I don't think you can beat the Hidden Hunter blind made right here in the USA.

The guy in this video clip is 6'4" and the first blind he sets up is the 5X5 gun blind. The 2nd blind is the 6X6 bow blind and it shows him shooting a 60" longbow out of it with no problems.

I think portability plus quick and easy setup and take down are most important features to be considered when choosing a blind.

Considering the state of our Country today I think products made in American to be a huge factor also.    :archer:

Summits are about 6ft plus in diameter and cost around $240.00. Not sure about trad bows upper limb clearance though, from looking at the pics. Window seems high. Will have to see one first.
