A good friend is bringing up his collection of ancient archery stuff.I say stuff because he has all kind of things, ancient heads from 2000 years ago.He has 3 samari bows with arrows,an old elephant bow form lord knows when. This thing has a plant fiber string on it.He even has a crossbow from the dark ages,as well as several longbows from that time, and more metal broadheads then I can remember all ANCIENT STUFF.His name is Don Geary so look him up while you are there,I think he said he has 70 feet of exhibit space. It is definately worth seeing.

Bill,
I will be there on Friday with a down payment for something good in hand.  I am wanting try some of your bows out.  Hoping the crowed is not to big on Friday to allow me to do that.  I was up there last year on a Saturday, and you could hardly move around.
See you there,
Horner

Hey Bill,I have some new (different) carbon I have been playing with.It looks VERY promising. It has done great on the recurve limbs.Im waiting on another shipment of foam so I have not tried it on the longbow limbs yet,but for the gains on the recurve limbs,I expect even more on the longbow limbs.
Im looking forward to seeing everyone this weekend, friday is usualy alot less crowded then saturday.

Bill,
If you don't mind, give me a report when you build some longbow limbs with it. Did you just start using carbon in recurve limbs?? I thought at Kalamazoo you said you only used it in longbow limbs. Did I miss something??

Take Care, Bill

You did not miss anything.I did not use it in the recurve limbs, because the carbon i had did not have the lateral stability for recurve limbs, plus it did not realy add much except to the price, carbon is expensive. This carbon is a custom weave that is much stiffer.

Be there Friday evening as well with a good group of trad shooters.
It is a world with dew still on it, more touched by wonder and possiblitly than any I have since known.

Don't do it Horner if you shoot one you will buy. I got a new one a few weeks ago kingwood and curly maple with bloodwood extreme riser with curly maple with arrow inlay limbs. I'll just say what a shooter. Troy

Troy,
I cant help it!  Ive got to, wanted one for a long time.  I have just been holding off till I could get my hands on all of the different risers so I could make a sound choice.  I already have the woods I want picked out in my head.  Kingwood, Bocote and Wenge.
