Tamarack Green Wool shirts
« on: March 19, 2009, 06:42:00 PM »
I've got a new color wool for the Longhunter shirts that I call Tamarack Green. It's as heavy as the Gray wool and I think it will blend in really well.

Here's Ole skinny Gregg Coffey with one on.     :D

Ron,
That is a great looking shirt, but I'm wondering if you have received a new shipment of the gray?

Ron I'd like to see a green pladd shirt made with the lighter weight wool because when the leaves are still green the temps are still too warm for the heavy wool shirt. The light weight shirt is just the medicine for those early fall mornings when it gets cool and damp. IMO I like green pladd in the early deer seasons here in NJ where I hunt. I own both the brown light weight and the grey heavy weight shirts and I love them. Great products! I have recomended them to all my huting friends here, several have bought them from you. I have also recomended them here to other Trad Gang members.

I'm with recurve here.  I'd snatch a lighter weight one (or three) in plaid right up.

I should have some of the Special Edition Trappers Companion hawks in about a week. They'll be on my web site when I get them.

Ron,
I have been looking at these shirts for over a year now and I only hear great things about them.  The only reason I have yet to order one is because I wear a xxl half the time and a xxxl the other half depending on who makes it.  Do your shirts sizes tend to run big, small or be "right on" so to speak?  I would love to own one. or two...

I bought a grey one this year and used it on a cold weather hunt in Alberta.  Thin blooded Texans and REAL cold don't match up too well and my Grey wool shirt from Ron made all the difference.  Not only is it warm but you can tell a shooter designed it because of the way it fits.... GREAT PRODUCT!

Craig does not fill out that manly shirt the way us XL and XXL fellows do. It looks kinda wimpy on him. Nice product Ron.

I like it, and it looks good on Craig.  The cardiac ward is full of guys who "fill-out" those xxl sizes 8^).

The Tx heat was the reason I chose the brown, lighter weight longhunter shirt. It proved to be a good choice. The green is inviting. Just wish it was in the lighter weight wool. I wear a 2XL and found it to be true to size. Highly recommend this shirt. Would also recommend the hood to match. Great combination.

Way to GO Ron!!!!!  Looks GREAT!!!!!!!!!!

I've always been a big fan of "green"..... Gray is good, and brown is probly better..... However,I've always been alittle "skittish" about looking like a deer!!!!!

I Like GREEN!!!!! Makes me look like a "pine tree"   :archer:

I think Greg looks great in his shirt.  I'm with Mr. Stout on that one.
Green looks good.  I love my grey one.  Had a nice buck look right through me while I sat in a tree stand in my grey longhunter.  Was a bit worried about it not being camo up until that point.  No worries anymore.  Great American made shirt at a great price. Thanks Ron.
