Sunday Afternoon Bow-Hike - Lots of Pics!!
«

My wife and I took our pooch and went for a short hike and I shot a few P&Y bushes...
If you look close you can see the arrows in the air on their way to the target and hitting their mark!!!!
Lots of fun for sure!!!!!
You can see the orange feathers left/center of the pic...

You can see the yellow/white feathers just up and left of the bush then you can just barely see the yellow/white feathers in the center of the bush... Look close, cause hitting the bush let alone the center is a rare phenomenon for me... :D

Ya we were pretty low elevation, we got some real old pine forests up high with some great "stump" shooting, but down here we settle for dirt mounds and sage brush...

I'm not sure yet I'll just be getting back from Canada (bear quest) at that time I'll probably be pretty spent. We shot in the springs this weekend.. It was really nice they have a great range down there. I'll go again next month..

Looks like a great day, I have a anniversary coming up on Thursday, 32 years, it seems to get better instead of worse. Enjoy each other.

Hey Jake looks like you have a cool place to shoot ... they don't have to be stumps to have fun ... speaking as a guy that has killed a bunch cactus, yuccas and cow flops!
Logged
To me, the ultimate challenge in bowhunting is not how far away you can succesfully make a killing shot but rather how close you can get to the animal before shooting.
